Backstage: Set-building at High House Production Park in Thurrock

'The Tzar's Bride' sets are wonderful. The audience actually applauded the penthouse pool set which I've only seen happen once before with the opening set in 'La Traviata'. Beautiful!

It’s an amazing site. I pass through here most days and hear you all working away on sets, the work shop is a cool design. Id love to be a part of building sets, it’s interesting experimenting with materials to create a scene.

True thate moste of them aren't new but it was for a story had had bin working on at the time and I needed to get an idea on how long it ould take if there were a new one that needed the sets props and costumes made, and while I've goten beond that point now I sertenly apricceate the info and will keep it in mind for futer use.

Anybody know how long it takes them to build all the stets and peaces for an opera? As well as making the wigs and costumes.
