Greetings I use with patients: "Que dices" = what do you say? "Como estamos" = how are we doing? "Como estas campeon!" = How are you doing (if I'm closer with a male patient). I didn't learn these from Spanish classes, a lot of what you can learn is in the culture/community and it's awesome!

As a fallback, if there's something you don't know, it's always good to know this phrase as well. "Como se dice en ingles?" =What does mean in english?" I use that instead of "no entiendo" to learn about what the new word is. Sometimes they will actually switch to english briefly to fill you in on the word as well.

The "good night" might be an overall Caribbean thing but jamacians also greet this way but in English. When I was in high school my boys mom used to answer the phone "Hello, goodnight" everytime

In English you could also say “Good evening” to greet someone during the night
