Hardy is the "create your own offense" component of the Mavs 2nd unit. I like Grimes a lot but I think Hardy is ahead in the pecking order. By the end of last year, Gafford was the starter in name-only as Lively took on a more of a prominent role... but you're right, I don't think anyone knows who will start. It would be a shame if Luka and Lively aren't on the court together for all of Lively's minutes -> killer pick-n-roll combination. When healthy, Kleber will likely be used situationally but not a full-time part of the rotation. Unless a significant injury occurs, Prosper looks destined for the G League so he gets consistent minutes for development. You nailed the prominent role Marshall will play, I don't think many people outside of Dallas recognize just how important he will be for the Mavs.

The 240 minute exercise: what people forget is the "extra" minutes will come as a result of injuries, not from rotation minutes when the team is at full strength. This is part of the reason identifying players in the 10-13 rotation slots matters.

Lively played 23.5 mpg as a rookie I'm sure he'll be at least 24 mpg in 2024-25. That of course is contingent upon him improving his foul control.

lonzo said in an interview that he has a strict 16 min restriction until further notice. On top of that he obviously won't be playing back to backs and will be resting periodically. I don't think anyone should be drafting him in any format.
