It's interesting to know different meanings of "mount". For example, mount a picture = hang up a picture; or mount an exhibition = organize an exhibition; or mount a hill = climp up a hill; the death toll mounted to 100 = the death toll went up to 100.

Hum, and I still learned a fourth word: mount
"To mount a horse", "to mount a motorbike"

I wasn't able to shape my own examples because I don't know which was the last time I mounted something 🤔 I wish I could mount a horse before dying.

Thank you!

Last year my friend gave me a voucher to experience either sky diving or bungee jumping as a birthday gift. However, after *weighing up* I decided not to try any. Although I often pushed myseld to try something out of my comfort zone, that time my *fear mounted* when thinking of potential risks I might encounter so I gave up.

Some refuse to leave...they say all appears normal. They might want to ask that same question when 120-150k Russian soldiers come plowing in suddenly. Duh!
