The whole world is watching the New Hampshire primaries and what it will mean moving forward, toward election day in November.
A majority of Americans say they do not want a repeat of the 2020 Joe Biden Donald Trump contest.
But America's allies and enemies appear to be behaving more and more on the assumption that there will be a second Trump presidency.
What could that mean for global geopolitics?

No one ever mentions there is a law which has to go through both houses of Congress which states no President can leave NATO without their approval. The real power of US politics is with Congress which leaves the President has very limited powers.

Europeans always have the strange idea of relying on the United States for everything.

So the European security depends on US elections.

Ww2 lessons not learned. If you don't stop them in Ukraine then they won't stop anywhere

The US congress had to pass a new law last december barring the president from single handedly withdrawing from NATO. So he can't officially do that on his own. That doesnt mean he won't try to get around the law.

We are stuck with a repeat.
At least it will be interesting.
Like a Superbowl.
Even though a majority of the population do NOT want either one of these 2.
So get your popcorn ready.

I despise Trump. I didn't vote for him in '16, '20 and I won't in '24.

In Trump's first term he told NATO nations that they're not paying their faur share. They laughed at him like he doesn't know what he's talking about. Fast-forward to 2022/2023 it is proven so when EU states cannot keep up qith weapons production to assist Ukraine 😂😂😂

The EU has a combined gdp of $19 trillion. That is more than 10x that of Russia. They should be easily funding the war in Ukraine without breaking a sweat, but for some reason they are struggling.

This discussion is totally inane. Europe will have to fight for itself either way. With or without the USA. USA is thinking about its own interest only. With or without Trump.

If Russia is struggling to beat Ukraine, how could it possibly beat the combined forces of the rest of Europe, far less if USA also joins in?
It seems highly dubious to me that Russia will even annex all of Ukraine. This “first Ukraine, then Europe” notion doesn’t seem rooted in any logic.
