Air France A220 Economy Review

In this video, we'll take a look at Air France's latest short haul economy offering courtesy of a trip from their hub at Paris CDG through to London Heathrow aboard their new Airbus A220.

Overall, I was impressed. The new aircraft cuts a smooth and interesting experience, with thanks to its large and quiet engines combined with the large windows giving passengers a great view out. The 2-3 seating config was a nice change up on the usual 3-3, which I thought absolutely ideal if traveling with a partner. The crew also did a super job across both legs which I flew with them.

Only area for improvement for me would be arm rest comfort, the hard plastic felt cheap and lacked comfort. Something a little softer would be ideal, perhaps even higher grade plastics you seen on car dashboards etc...

I've got a number of flights coming up with Air France over the coming weeks, largely across their business class - lots more to follow here!

Loving you trying out new airlines/products. As a OW flyer, I haven't had the pleasure of flying the A220. Very nice plane, armrest/legroom aside. Another super job, TbD.

Air France are excellent in my opinion, definitely worth considering for longhaul travel as the comfort and service are superb. I still need to experience their Airbus A220- hopefully soon!

Looked pretty reasonable in comparison to BA, recently flew short haul in Euro traveller, small bottle of water and the smallest pack of biscuits I've ever seen
Unfortunately the crew didn't seem to keen to start the on board 'cafe' service possibly because of the 2 hour delay in departure, only a few passengers were able to get a tea, it was a pretty poor experience, which left me very dissapointed.
