Knockoff is a fair description of this Ganzo it's kind of what they do a lot of. It has far too many differences to be a clone, name on blade, hole not round and crossbar lock for starters. These are great knives for those who want to start out in this hobby for little money. Learning how to take them down and modifying them are two reasons great for getting one. Thank you C&C!

I really like mine the only thing is that the tip has bent every time that Ive dropped it

Frankie and Bird have called Ganzos the gateway knife. They have said that so many people will email them, asking where to start with knives, and they'll recommend Ganzo. The same people will email back a few years later, and mention some custom knife or sprint run Spyderco that they are getting next, having worked their way up the ladder. I think some of that is how available and cheap they are. Give Amazon $25, and get a knife that's fine. It's hard to start with a Spyderco. Even a $70 Tenacious is a pretty big step from having no knives at all. But $25? Most folk can swing that, and if you like it, you can see what you get with a real Spyderco.

I got that exact model for my brother in law this year for Christmas. It looked to me like he needed a reliable beater, and it was either this or a SRM Land 910. And I thought the crossbar lock might be a little safer since he's a mechanic, and will have grimy hands most of the time.

My only problem with it is the crazy lock-stick. I tried bending the spring a bit and ruined the feel of the open 😢
But I think it’s much better than their Delica ripoff.

Yes, it's $23, but... look at it! Yikes! I'd rather get a Remette Rhino for a couple bucks more. It's higher quality and doesn't look like the special needs cousin of some other brand.

You must have made this a while ago, as Mrs. C&C's scale is still pristine. Waiting to see the rebranded Carry & Cut scale.
