Wow, you so elegantly traveled from work to work and have distilled the potential of this tag: marks of beauty that themselves compel; and now I want to read through every unread suggestion! Thank you for this! (And you managed, purposefully or not, to pick the perfect color combination on-screen; just pure aesthetic bliss!)

What thoughtful answers to these fantastic questions. Thank you. I especially love your discussion of catharsis--where it is not just the reader who feels it but actually interior to the book as well.

This was such a thoughtful video to listen to. Very intelligently done and so many new-to-me books to look for. Thank you for taking the time!

Very engaging & fun video, such a rich & disparate collection of books, thanks for this creative stimulus. I wasn't previously familiar with 'A Ghost in the Throat' (& what a great title), so I will certainly search this one out, thanks for the spotlight. Ah, I love stream-of-consciousness, & what Lispector does with it. Emily has got me on to her - & now I am forever enriched.

I've been a quiet subscriber but recently I've been binge watching your videos and I have to say, I love your passion for literature. I love the internet because I've connected with so many incredible and interesting readers, like you. You have such a great taste in books and I believe our tastes align very much, which is why I always find myself adding more books on my tbr because of you. Keep on creating, posting and reading. Your content speaks to me, and I believe many others can agree with me.

So glad I tagged you, I knew I was going to like your list. Love the new hair! Also, I would've been disappointed if you didn't use Proust for the beauty in time prompt, glad you included him.

I love this video so much! I'm watching it in my morning and it is like a ray of joy and sunshine. So many new books to get excited about!

P.S. I am now about to break one of my unspoken rules of commenting (never comment on anyone's appearance) ... but I cannot help myself .... I love your new hair colour!!! LOVE!! E x

Enchantez, Sophie!
Quel plaisir de voir un Booktuber qui parle en français. 😊
I have an Audible credit coming soon. I'll be sure to use one on Jazz.

Merci et au revoir ✌️😃
