Ive used mr Funnel . it works OK for removing water . ill use a vacuum evacuator to remove the bulk water / ethanol from gas . then filter the rest through the mr funnel thing . keep in mind that the mr funnel tool can only filter out a few ounces at a time of the water .

Just wanted to thank you for the sticker shipment, we just received it the other day. Yep our Mr. Funnel is still holding back the water and i use it to filter approximately 90% of customer fuel before adding K100s+ and STP Octane booster then it goes into my 2006 Ford F150. At EP we drain all customers fuel whenever a carb cleaning is done and put Ethanol Free fuel with our stabilizer into their fuel tank so any fuel issues are eliminated. Thanks again, the OLD MAN at EP over and out!

Presumably, though, if you poured most of the water off it would then take out any residual droplets that were hiding in the can etc...

I haven't tried this yet, but I remember someone saying you could put water in the gasoline with ethanol, the ethanol being hydroscopic will mix with the water but the gas will not, then mix in some Epsom Salts (magnesium sulfate) which will absorb the water/ethanol. Then just pour the mixture through a particle filter (coffee filter?), and you should be left with gasoline.

Steve drinks "Old Millwater" (we used to call it). I used to drink a lot of that when I was young and had little money, lol. Same with Red White and Blue, Carlings Black Label, Keystone and Old Style. It was good enough. I might buy some Old Mil again since I haven't had any in over 30 years just to relive my past? Heck, I might like it again?

Once the water separates from the gasoline in ethanol, I would have guessed that the water would not go through Mr. Funnel but, according to you, it does not. I'm amazed! I have been using various sizes of Mr. Funnel for years. When I go to the gas station and buy premium gas, I always filter that premium gas through Mr. Funnel with the idea that it would filter any unwanted water and small particles out of the premium gas. I'm going to keep doing it because it makes me feel better. I also use Mr. Funnel when I transfer gas from my 5-gallon can to my 2.5-gallon can but you say that any perceived benefit I get is all in my head. I don't know! I think I have to call Mr. Funnel.
