If you were a teenage boy who loved Yes in the 70’s (like me), it was powerful, mesmerizing, and fricken heroic. It seemed like most people just didn’t understand that these were the heavyweight champions of the world. The best guitar player, the best bass player, the best keyboard player, the perfect drummer to back it all up, and Jon’s soaring celestial voice. Yeah...it was the shit man! It carried me through those perpetually confusing teenage years. I’m forever grateful.

Long after Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs and Elon Musk have been forgotten the world will still be listening to these true tech giants...

Yes songs are so complex. I'm amazed they could remember all those changes and play them so well live. I love Yes

Unmatched. Is there any better? A master class in Musicianship, substantive songwriting and layered genius. Just to create of these songs let alone play them live, flawlessly, is something we will NEVER see again in any life time. Thank you YES for setting the bar so high it can never be reached. LEGACY

I saw them on this tour with the rotating stage… At the time I was in high school and had just started to play bass; when Squire’s solo started, the stage turned to the other side and he was finished when he got back to my side… 😢
One of the greatest displays of collective talent and musicianship I’ve ever witnessed!
The only other bands I’ve seen that were in this league were ELP and Rush!

So, yeah, I’m getting old nowadays but I saw the cool bands back in the day, lol!

Great video, thanks for sharing!

I have a dwegree in music...Beethoven Brahms, Mozart, etc....but I have always loved this group...absolutely fantastic. I really enjoy Chris Squire and Steve Howe's duets in these songs. A lot of their compositions like Close to the Edge are symphonies and are brilliantly conceived. I am 62 but will never grow too old to enjoy this music.

Okay, I agree with all the praise given to the band and their music, but let’s all give a hand to the editor! Between all the motion graphics and video stabilization, they must have clocked hundreds of hours of work! The end result is quite engaging! Thank you and bravo!

Steve captures something musically on guitar that no one else really does. Hard to explain but, his mix of many styles all tastefully blended together to make it musically eclectic and interesting.

This was a time that once was. What will never be again. Whoever lived through this time and was around to enjoy it. Are very fortunate people. Great memories. Great memories. 💯

I'm 68 and my body is falling apart, but man, am I ever happy I got to see this tour and so many other great shows in the mid to late 70's. I went to this show in Greensboro, NC with the best girlfriend I ever had.

On the Silent Wings of Freedom. One of the often forgotten ass-kicking songs from my favorite band. Brings me back to 1979 when I was 15 years old, on a school ski trip to Steamboat Springs Colorado. I was on the bus with my boda bag filled with Southern Comfort, cranking Tormato on my boombox on the back of the bus, firmly believing I could get every kid on that bus to fall in love with Yes. Very few kids "got it, " that was for damn sure. But I played that music all weekend long, feeling like it was extension of me, and I somehow felt complete. This music never ages within those of us who truly love it, despite the fact that the band and all of us surely do. RIP Christopher Squire.

My first concert ever, 13 years old with my best friend at MSG. His father knew the photographer for MSG and we sat Row 1 Seats 1, 2. A magical night!!

Saw them on this tour at Market Square in Indianapolis. To this day, one of the most awesome shows I've ever seen. Rest In Peace Alan White and Chris a rhythm section for the ages....

I was there in 1978. Long Beach arena, California. I was very young and want to thank you for bringing those memories back. No one came closer to touching the face of God, musically, than YES.
