Same scenario with me being called wog n dago back in the 70s n 80s and kangaroo while in Italy. Now i call other wogs wogs . Recently i helped out an Indian couple move and store some furniture whilst they were looking for a house to rent, the husband so grateful that i went out of my way to assist them that he hugged me and said
" you are a true Australian ", this comment blew me away as i struggled to hold back tears, for the first time in my life i felt a sense of belonging . God bless him.

Interesting that he said producers that they couldn't cast him because "there were no Greeks before 1950". Didn't stop Steven Spielberg from casting an entire Greek family in Melbourne during WWII.

Watched the movie. Very funny but need to ask Nick how many jabs did you need to take to keep your job and your mouth shut?

I known a fish and chips owner's and his brother and there own mum and dad as well ever since I was a little baby and when I was growing getting older as well one of them was a very very cheeky owner who I grew up around the fish and chips shop because my mum and dad used too get fish and chips from them he always always called me a malaka and I always always called him one as well when I used to get my fish and chips from him on my own and one time I was there he asked me too pat his pet shark in a fish bowl and when I was patting the pet shark he squeeze it and made myself jump a bit and it's turned out to be a dog squeaky toy I said to himself you bloody cheeky wog malaka he was laughing at me there I said to him that well you lost a valuable customer from me there anyway not really I was joking with himself at the fish and chips shop that was a good old days I missed it altogether here
