Got an electric burner - now can use less propane! I don't pay extra power where I'm at right now.

I discovered single burner butane hotplate about the same size as your single electric one.  They're used often by caterers on buffets, for instance.  The butane are in cans the size of a spray paint can or hair spray. They're cheap and I got it all at a restaurant supply store. The butane cans snap into the inside of the burner frame.  I don't have an RV yet, but have a grub box in the bed of my pickup, and these live there with the other kitchen essentials. The single burner cost $20, and each can of butane last about 8 hours on high, and those were $2 each, in a package of 4.  We lost power this winter, and I was thankful to have this on hand since my hot water and stove are electric.  I would love to have a dual fuel Coleman camp stove, but the one I want is $100, so this is my budget alternative for now.  It was great to be able to make my coffee and breakfast when the power went out.  I've got it for emergency use, for the most part.

I couldn't agree more!! Propane can get expensive and refilling is often a pain. NICE

We have 2 NuWave convection burners. I had to buy new pans, but the safety factor in a confined space is worth it. 

We just bought 2 little NuWave convection ovens (only sold in pairs, don't ask me why) and replaced our big 30 inch microwave\convection oven monster with a smaller microwave and some shelving. I'll put a short video up about that as soon as I stop foaming at the mouth at the way the original one was installed. DH made me delete several clips already where I was pretty blunt about what I thought because he was afraid they'd get us sued by Gulfstream.

I got one like this. cept a dual. think i showed it in one of my vids. plan to not use my propane at all. even wanna remove the onboard tank. dead weight. but gonna wait on that.

You have so many great ideas. Sorry I have not been by in awhile. I keep adding more RV channels, that it is hard to manage. I need to thin out the list and keep what I really want. Hug the puppies for me. Was that a cat I heard meowing in the background.. Oh and I too loved the white one the best, but I can see a need to have both.
