My favorite quote about privacy is:
"It's not that I have something to hide. I have nothing I want you to see."

Really powerful quote which in a very few words explains exactly the vast deep value of privacy.

This is such a good interview that I'm moved to comment on how good an interview this is. So yes! Really good interview!

She was an amazing guest! Wasn't sure if I was gonna be gripped by this interview at first, but I was really drawn in! Thanks

Not sure if privacy is power, but lack of privacy is definitely powerlessness.

Thank you triggernimetry! Please have more people like this - professors, scientists, researches. That's what makes you different. All those "Sam Harris's" we've already heard million times. We need new people, deeper ideas

I’m more concerned about the freedoms we keep losing in the name of a threat. We never get these freedoms back after the threat is gone. Who remembers the good old days, when you could turn up for a flight twenty minutes before takeoff? Happy days

Never activated biometric access to phones/laptops, never installed banking apps on smartphones, can't believe how readily the overwhelming majority see absolutely zero potential for harm in these things and are happy to relinquish their privacy for a miniscule benefit in convenience.

Very pertinent. Here in Australia the Federal government has just created the perfect legislative avenue for national surveillance without any more excuse than suspicion or possibility or profile.
'Correlation is not causation' gets in the way of covert, legal and accumulative data collection and holding.
Thanks so much for making this more public and explaining it so clearly.

The part on history, and how Netherlands and France handled differently their database on minorities was mind-blowing

Wow this might be my favorite interview/episode ever. Relevant, timely, well paced, understandable.

Wow she's very smart and boy does that make her even more good looking.

Great interview. This should be the biggest talking point right now. Unfortunately, journalists are too focused on identity politics and as big Dougie Murray points out, we’re wasting our time as a society - halting progress with progressivism

This message is important and should be widely talked about

Privacy used to be a right. Now it has become a privilege.

Excellent interview!
She talks so fast that she packs twice as much information into the time she's talking.

Forgetting is a double edge sword. There are things we should forget but we as a society have forgotten many good values we once upheld.
