Who are the persons estimating the tickets? Suppose you have 500 server error bug - it could be either a NPE, which is solved in 10 minutes or a problem of communication with some 3rd party which is quite hard to catch and solve. According to your words these bugs are intiially equal? And the compensation is similar (because initially it's just 500 server error bug) despite the fact that efforts are not equal.
Could you throw some light on the estimation process?

Great talk, I have noticed in the past that additional communication channels only lead to additional problems. My suggestion was then also to carry out the communication only the via tickets. Basically, I don't find it correct that projects in a CV can be ignored, or that they are not important. Of course, I would look at certifications, but I say this is of secondary importance. Developers gained experience in realizing projects rather than certifications. Certifications can also be obtained by memorizing them, so I don't believe in that.

Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to participate in open source projects in the past, I should probably change that.

Extremely strange that you said that TDD is basic rule for your because in your podcast you mentioned that your write code only for bugs. Like when you find the bug you add test and fix it.

Hello, I ma usually trying to make a project not a task and trying to teach my team to do the same. But you want to say that it is bad idea to make a project, to help customer to do something in more proper way. Could you please explain more why I am wrong?
