Yayy! So good to see your video after a long time. I started my coding journey 3 years ago, with your 30 days of code tutorial and received offer from General Electric Healthcare today.

please make a video on how to restrict certain pages to certain users (admins). I'm trying to do that right now but I'm so confused. I'm using flask_login to check if users are logged in etc but I don't know how to make certain routes only accessible for certain users. And I want to set the admin level in the database (in the user's model) so I can change the access level later if needed. If you can do a video on this it would be sooo helpful

As always, you are a life saver! You produce the best videos for beginners! I’m gonna check your courses on LinkedIn. Can you make a similar intro for Django? It’s been frustrating to learn :(
But you really explained a lot in this video. A million thanks.

Hi Kathryn, can you please put up a video on Docker and Kubernetes? I really admire your style of teaching.

I believe best practice is to first create your project folder then cd into that project folder and then create your virtual environment whose folder will reside inside your project folder. Then activate the virtual environment. Then as you create your project files (html, css, python files) they should go under your project folder not inside your virtual environment folder.

Python has lovely syntax but now I'm using JavaScript because It's more suitable for web, specially front-end apps
Python JavaScript
flask express
django strapi
??? vue, react, angular, svelte, ...

I’m programming in php usually. I like to play around with python for automation stuff. I did my part with flask to. I really don’t understand why someone even wanna make web pages(not talking about other things) in python. Hosting is unbelievable expensive when compared to php hosting. It’s really complicated to set it up if you are not familiar with console and Linux servers most of time. Flask and python is not bad, but hosting alone is no go for me.

Django is a lot to take in. Flask is great. Django is better for gigantic applications though.
