I reallyed liked Kai's characterization in V-Force if nothing else. My favorite moment was when Tyson asked Kai if he had a place to stay at, and Kai, still being cool, doesn't admit it but just stands their in silence awkwardly. It got a chuckle out of me.

I weirdly preferred the old artstyle, I also liked Tysoon having a darker skin-tone, made him a lot more distinct

I think the original Beybalde series had a pinch of slice of life style that made itunique - it wasnt all about bey battles. There are several silly moments - and it made it memorable.

Tbh the only thing I like in V-force is the beyblade art and The Saint Shields. Ozuma was such a cool character. The story is definitely the worst tho

G revolution feels like the spiritual successor of series 1. The V force characters apart from Hilary never come back the next season

Yea, I don't like V-Forve at all. The art style is much better than season 1. Much cleaner. But Most of it felt like filler. Towards the end of v force, that's when it got good with the national tournament. G Revolution is the best in the OG era.

Despite being the worst season of the original Beyblade it’s still miles ahead of anything that came after from all the other franchises. The plastic gen was unmatched 💯

Its funny because i watched it several times in TV as a kid and i watched this video i can say that the only thing i remember from V-Force its the style change and the 3D beyblades update... all of the story was completely blank on me, like anything told in this was new for me XDDD

Consider from what I can understand, two things that pretty much held V-Force back was miscommunication of sorts. Since season 2 was in the works by a different studio as season 1 was finishing up, the studio who worked on season 2 may have not been given any proper info on the cast's character progression, just the bare minimum. And since the manga is going around at the same time, V-Force didn't do much to change up the story from the Manga, yes there is some difference, but the manga didn't bring much of the season 1 supporting characters back with the exception of Tala.

I know the CGI blades are quite controversial, but I rather liked them. They didn't tend to look as fast, but having a unique model for each blade allowed them to remain consistent, whereas 90% of the blades in Season 1 had unique designs when sitting still and then switched to the same palette-swapped squat cone once they were spinning. It was only the especially weird ones like the All Starz's blades that kept their unique looks while in play.

This season was barely a full volume in the original manga. In the manga it’s directly connected to the arc before it and the one right after it, so connected that the V-Force anime is over 95% FILLER lol G-Rev on the other hand? Takao Aoki got in his bag for that

As an illustrator, CGI can be useful for the more complicated things, but a spinning top looks very very easy. I'm guessing that they wanted the main product to stay clear & visible, not an abstracted spinning object.

14:50 in that battle there's one moment where things get intense as Max and Draciel are getting tired that cyber draciel won't stay down that Draciel starts slamming his evil clone's head into the wall multiple times
