I think its nice that Callie and Gael are giving themselves a chance. Before, it was mostly just having sex together but now they are trying to have a healthy but complicated relationship. Even if they aren't endgame and it fizzles out, at least they took a shot so they wouldn't have any regrets. At the end of the day, they are friends and that's a beautiful thing. Gael isn't the most interesting character but he is still a really nice guy and a good friend.

I feel like yes it's super annoying but now Callie can get all of her feelings for Gael out of her system. Like they never really officially started a proper relationship so they left it off with what if's ya know? Now this way Callie can be with Gael, realize he's not the one for her, and be endgame with Jamie! That way she'll have no doubts that he isn't the one for her!

I really don't understand how people dislike Callie and Gael together!!! I want them to be endgame, but I did love Jamie and Callie together as well, with that being said I love Gael and Callie together, I feel like their relationship offers something different than what her relationship with Jamie offers, I feel like Jamie was proven to be to be the wrong person for her, morally they don't entirely go together, which is everything.

Ok so from what I’m seeing a majority of people like Jamie over Gael, I haven’t watched much of the show but from what I have seen Gael isn’t all that interesting as a character. Ship who you want to ship I care but frankly I think this show should challenge there characters ideas in a nuanced manner a lot of the characters values aren’t really tested by someone who the show doesn’t paint as obviously in the wrong. I don’t know maybe I’m just screaming into the void here but I just wanted to get my thoughts out there

Speaking as a fan of the fosters Good Trouble has failed to resonate with me in a palpable way for 3 seasons now. It genuinely feels like they primarily care more about relationships than nuanced storytelling. And to make matters worse their relationships aren’t written any better
