6 Killed In Head-On Crash In South Texas

Six people were killed and three others were seriously injured in a head-on collision in south Texas early Saturday, authorities said.

I had to do some night driving is a rural area earlier this week. Neither the yellow lines in the middle of the road nor the white lines on the sides of the roads had been painted in decades. They were no longer visible. I couldn't tell what side of the road I was on, and when there was a car coming in the other direction with headlights blinding me, I couldn't use the white line to know where I was. The whole thing was a crap shoot. If we can't do any infrastructure, could we at least paint the damn lines once in a while so we know where the road is?

You can’t take anything for granted when you get on the road. I only go two miles under the speed limit, use both hand when driving and check back and forth like I’m being tailed. You have to watch out for these people.
