Hello Mike.
Grade 5 drums exam next month.
Bar 19 has an amendment to play the same as Bar 36.

Not a problem but
There is a difference between the way you play Bar 36 in the "How to" and the example play. Both were done 6 years ago.

Essentially in the "How to" you play the closed high hat on 3 after the crash on 2&.
However you do NOT play the closed high hat in the example play.

Which is correct?

Checked the book and the audio and I just cant seem to get the timing down for bar 19 (the syncopation with the bass, hi hat and snare before the chorus). Do you think you could tell me about it in the comments/do a full runthrough like the Queens of the Stone Age video you did? Will keep trying though!
