I've recently acquired a taste for Rooms fangames, and it's lowkey depressing to see so many games be recommended to me only to find out that they've been closed.

I hope nothing like this ever happens to Rooms & Doors.

Honestly I don't think the rooms community will die with these two games dying, it'll just evolve. RLD and IR were both entity spam games, and the less we have of those, the more room we have for traditional rooms fangames, and better ones in general.

Sad to see the games go, but imo seeing the personalities of the entities was pretty nice if you checked the wiki during the time the games were still up

Never played R:LD, but from what I could research (and play in spawner games) most of the entities were either uninspired, mic spam, or both. The only entities I actually liked were the Happyman variants and G-159, the former because they're cute, the latter because its mechanic I really enjoyed.

Im never gonna forget the silly moments with the admins just trolling us
Never gonna forget that traumatizing russian roulette i did with someone cuz one admin forced us and the others just behind the door watching and me asking for help (i died cuz i suck)
