You know, Ryan, since all these walls are coming down, you can redesign your layout in any way you like. You don't have to stick with your original plan for rooms if you don't want to. Very freeing!

Hey Ryan. I know you are new to renovation but please wear safety glasses. All it takes is one piece of that wall in the eye and you could be blind. Keep up the courage and I love watching you learn

I would be VERY careful - in such an old structure, removing all or most of the joists at once - does risk movement in the walls. Mentioned it several episodes back. An old house partly relies on the joists as part of its lateral integrity, not just the foundations.

You should be wearing steel toed boots, safety glasses and A HELMET, please. PPE exists for a reason. A lot less expensive than a visit to the hospital.

As a nurse, please listen to all these people regarding safety being healthy is precious x

its time to install a steel frame before the walls come tumbling down.

Nothing wrong with honesty. It took all your savings to buy the house so naturally the renovations must be paid for somehow!

Please consider adding some new joists on each floor to tie the structure’s front & rear walls together, before too long.
😬 Certainly before strong windy weather.

The exposed staircase looks fantastic as well as exposed stone walls!

Laughs, honesty, demolition .. what more could one ask for? It's going to be a beautiful house one day.

Im absolutely on Team Gut It. I'm also on Team Dig Out The Tunnel (imagine how cool that would be as a wine alcove?), so take that as you will. Loved seeing another wall come down...dont you dare not film the cleanup, though! Love a good sweep-up, we do!

I know others have mentioned it but .... please wear a helmet and eye protection. You are in a construction zone even while doing demolishing chores. Be safe! Don't want to see someone else doing your work cause you've been laid up with major injuries. Be safe!

Just a little bit of overall advice. First, get all, and I mean all of the demolition done, so that you reduce the amount of dust when you're building. Second, try to finish the rooms from the top floor down. That way you are not tracking construction dust and debris on the newly remodeled floors. This is not always a workable thing, because you might need to finish certain rooms first, due to circumstances. In this case, try and leave the staircase for last. You've got great people to lean on for advice, so keep up the good work. I look forward to every episode.

No wall should come down that easily. Glad you are removing them and put up safe walls and ceiling.
