Ios, Greece - Exceeded Our Expectations

Ios was my 10th Greek Island. It's been an island that we've passed up on many ferry routes, but this time I wanted to take advantage of our 11 days in Greece and added to our trip. When I started researching I wasn't sure if I could believe how beautiful the beaches were, but is definitely did not disappoint. Our hotel was on a huge sandy beach - Miliopotas - also filled with restaurants, cafes, and bars. We could also walk or take a bus to town. The town was cute and had one our favorite sunset spots in all of Greece so far. Ios is known as the 2nd most popular party town, so it's a great place for the younger crowd, but if you want serene beautiful sandy beaches - this is also your place. We felt like we had most of the beaches to ourselves!
