I applied for my card the 2nd week it was offered and haven't been given any update or additional information. In addition, I have been paying $5 per month for Gold and when I asked RH support about the annual plan, they acted like they didn't no anything about an annual plan. It is odd, to say the least.

Just to be fair to Robinhood, the requirement for an annual subscription to Robinhood Gold is not new. When I checked out the card and went on the waitlist several weeks ago I saw that requirement. Specifically, the message read that you do not need to be a RH Gold member to go on the waitlist or to apply for the card, but upon acceptance you will be charged $50 for the annual membership to RH Gold.

I took notice of it but didn't care, as I plan to do the annual subscription anyway to save the $10

I got my offer the other day and immediately signed up, card should be arriving in a couple of weeks but you can use the app for purchases and such like he explained. I signed up in late March btw so it was 3.5 months for me to get the offer. I also had the authentication issues but it eventually went through - haven’t had any other problem with the app at all though!

I have transferred my taxable account to Robinhood. Just submitted a request to have my Roth transferred. Hoping robinhood stays legit.... Hopefully the credit card works and a functional banking set up is available at some point. Perhaps SoFi and Robinhood should partner?
