I planned to re/view this 100-video series on the last day of last year. Wow it 50/100 now. I understand how much time Daniel poured into each of them and how many people want to thank this great teacher.

I can not believe that I have to see you more than I actually see the code behind you! I mean I am very grateful for people like yourself who puts their time and energy to teach us how to code however the experience of teaching should be a lot better...I tried many online courses and watched a lot of videos- truth be told I learned a lot but the energy I spent to get a clear understanding of it, is huge compared to what I really got and that's basically because of the lack of realizing that online class does not have to be a like a normal class where students looking at there teacher.I wish one day somebody who is a multimillionaire entrepreneur will help educators and students by reimagine online programming classes and make a free well made app so we don't have to watch videos on YouTube but rather learn and interact in a class so our learning journeys will be measured by the knowledge we are getting and applying it in a practical way other that pausing a video every few second.
Best,

I was really struggling with a lot of the basic concepts like callback, jsonp etc while trying to finish my building a quote machine FCC challenge. Then I came across your video ... then boom -- magic happened. doubts cleared. You make coding so much fun and your energy is contagious! I'm now much more prepared to tackle the challenge thanks to you. Already subscribed and can't wait to watch the other videos! Thanks again!

caution: tl;dr posted at head...

Short : Diggin' the videos. This is my goto when I'm working through understanding a concepts and need visual explanations for stackoverflow/serverfault issues.

Long:
Thanks for being vulnerable (emotionally) enough to make a video about your knowledge of this and explain a lot of this stuff coherently. It takes a great deal of courage to stand up in front of people and do this, so I certainly can relate with that performance anxiety. It's nice to have an instructor who's not overly ego-driven and belittling with sharing their knowledge. I'm relatively intimidated by this new realm of deep-diving i'm exploring; To know there are experts who I can relate with and who are trying alternative methods to spread their knowledge is freakin awesome. Really enjoying the green-screen/example/visual illustration educating style. Thanks for being real about who you are and keep those videos coming.

This is by far the best tutorial I have seen about JSON and API. I only wished that you were rather working with jQuery ajax instead of P5.js.

This video was very helpful in knowing what to do with data that can only be retrieved in a callback function like the data in Firebase database. Thanks, Dan!

Hey man, ran into this looking for how to use JSON in android. Quickly realized this video was not about that, but you are fun enough, and similar enough in my way of explaining, that I really enjoyed this lesson, and stuck most of the way through.
When I pick up JS, which should be soon enough, I'm exited to do so through these.
Cheers!
