My Survival Pack - Core Alcohol Stove Review and Give Away

The Core Alcohol Stove is a partially Titanium micro alcohol stove that includes everything you need to cook with besides the alcohol! The entire stove weighs only 1.5 oz and has a fuel capacity of about 1.5 oz which is more than enough to boil a few cups of water for a hot drink or to cook small meals. It’s also adjustable so that you can set it to burn really hot and fast or low and slow.

This one seems more compact and more stable than others that I have used, that base and pot stand takes it a couple steps over the trangia.

i think my favorite feature is how it packs away. so small not to carry with you if not for your primary cooking source but a backup when things just aren't going your way.

I finally broke down and got one. A wee bit difficult to put the stand together, but I am sure that will become easier over time. Worked really well on a couple of occasions boiling up some water and making some eggs. No way to save fuel easily, but for a quick fire from my Car Bag (i carry 3 oz. of fuel) it is great. I think with more use, it will be much easier to assemble. Thanks for a great review. We really enjoy your channel.

I'm in. The size and weight. I have used the Trangia in the past. I purchased the core m4 after your review and have been very pleased with it. The problem with the trangia is no pot stand. I used different stands and finally started taking the m4 as the stand. By the time I set it up, I ended up just using a fire in it, instead of pulling out the trangia. With this stove I can leave the m4 at home. Thanks Joe.

Joe, I'm glad that you got around to showing this stove to us. It's pretty cool! I like that footprint of it. Stability in small size is important. Not a bad price either.
