A croatian Version of the former austrian anthem of which it was mostly but not all inspirated by an croatian folk Song (Stal Se Jesam V Jutro Rano) mostly sung by Croats in Burgenland region in modern day Austria back then in the kingdom of Hungary.
What a Story
This was the co-anthem of Croatia during the time in the Habsburg Monarchy.
Fun Fact: Former Pretender of the Croatian Kingdom Otto von Habsburg had been the one of first who helped Croatia during the 90s war his strong influence in the EU were the key-point for the acceptance by EU - states of Croatia appearance during and after the war. He also apologies in the Name of his Family for the execution of Petar IV Zrinski and Fran Krsto Frankopan
He recived croatian citizenship which he took to his death in 2011.
His Son the current pretender Karl von Habsburg (Karlo V) named his Son Ferdinand-Zvonimir which sparked fear at that time among the Communist (the pardoned traitors), that they might restore the Kingdom
