What is ATOL protection?

If you’ve ever watched or listened to a holiday advert, you may have heard at the end 'ATOL Protected!'

You may have an understanding of what ATOL protection is – or, at least, have heard the name.

But, if you haven’t, it may be totally new to you or you may not be entirely sure what it means. Here, we’ve outlined everything you need to know about ATOL and what we can and cannot help with.

The ATOL (Air Travel Organisers' Licensing) scheme is financial protection that protects you when you book a package trip. It must include a flight to be protected under ATOL. It is separate to travel insurance.
