Despite being a Ford guy, I've always loved the Corvette. I'm impressed with the C8 and, yes, it's a supercar. As for its price, when someone can actually drive one out of a dealership for 60K, I'll believe it. Not until then. I expect the over 700 horsepower ones to be around 100K like they are now.

You Ford Fanboys should be overjoyed the C8 Corvette is the Performance Bargain of the Century. Ford dealers will have a very hard time asking for Markups on the GT500. I wouldn't pay one penny over MSRP for a GT500 after this reveal.

I’ve been eyeing the 2019 gt350 but I’ve also been keeping track of all the C8 news. After that presentation I’m completely torn between the two, especially given the sub 60k price tag. Honestly thought it would be around 80k. I’m a car lover in general so I can appreciate what they both bring to the table.

Let’s think about this, 95k for a GT500 or 60K for a new mid engine Corvette that will out perform the Mustang? Save 35K and 600Lbs, that Corvette is going to be hard to beat in more ways then one. This comes from a Roush owner who is looking very hard at this new Corvette.

The C8 makes the 2020 gt500 seem overpriced at 59k. 0-60 in under 3 sec cant imagine what the Z06 and ZR1 will do.

Just like that Chevrolet dropped the Mic on the new 2020 GT500. A super light weight mid engine car with a 0-60 in under 3 seconds and for a base price of $60k.... Are you kidding me. Makes you think twice about ordering a $100k GT500 with a outdated 2015 front end and heavy as a pig. Lol.
