The popular depiction of the Devil is that of a goatlike creature with horns and a tail - but this was influenced by medieval artists.

The biblical description of Satan is very different.

In second Corinthians 11:14, Satan is described as disguising himself as “An Angel of Light” to get people to follow him.

In first Peter 5:8, Satan is described as “A roaring lion”, who fiercely attacks God’s worshippers.

And in Revelation 12:9 Satan is described as “A great dragon” and is frightful, powerful, and destructive.

It makes sense for it to look so majestic.
Not simply because he is the representation of sin and desire, but because before his fall, he was the angel closest to God.
A twisted goat-like creature wouldn't have such an impact.

When desire is defeated, then you are energized and become naturally happy and healthy because you are not depleted energy wise.
