I agree completely, disappointments in dating are common, and hard to deal with at times. I used to always get mad and frustrated at myself and women for things not working out, either with me making mistakes or them making mistakes. But then i realized that if you're going to wait until you're dating to be happy, God may be saying "Why are you not putting ME first as the reason for your happiness and joy?" He will not move you forward if you put him second or third or whatever. First commandment is clear. And he will let you go around the dating mountain over and over and over and over and over until you learn. Sooner you learn not to make an idol out of dating the sooner he can move you forward. Took me many, many years to learn that basic truth. Wish i had sooner, but....all you can do is carry on from right now.
