Anton loves what he is doing - and we all feel this passion and can not like it more.

Love the conjunction of Anton's head and a crescent planet. This won't happen again until 2435 years from now. Glad it's on video! ;)

Exoplanets are one of my favourite topics in science, so it's always great to hear news about recent discoveries about them.

This has to be one of the best astronomical videos I've seen in years

Anton, when I was about 16 years old, I found myself laying in a field and looking up at the stars. It was like looking into the past and I wondered what their futures would ultimately unfold between 'them' and my 'now'. The most important thing I took away from that experience is that I had a low tolerance to alcohol and it was a stark contrast to how quickly a fun night out with friends turned into a months long grounding.

When I was young I never thought humanity would get to see so much exoplanet data without actually sending something to another star system. In other words, not in my life time.
I am most thrilled with these recent imaging advancements and astronomic discoveries. Thanks astronomers and science explainers!

Anton Rocks! The Brown Dwarf is an amazing find, both physically & scholarly. Hotter than our sun, and doesn't transmit much light... wow, can't imagine all the things we don''t see with telescopes that are out there. ☮

Those direct imaging videos are CRAZY! I never thought we'd see that

Anton, thank you for your videos.

Would you consider making a video on the newly discovered black hole "burps"? Everything I've heard about them seems to imply that they're ejecting mass from inside the event horizon, but everything I've ever learned says that's impossible. Some clarification on that would be fantastic! Thank you for all of the great videos anton!

TY Anton for showing us how far exoplanetology has come since 2003.

A pot pouri of planetary discoveries, all at once! The information is comng in, fast and furious, and we do not have enough educated minds to sort and correlate it all. wasted

Time for more and better education of all the human intellect that is being wasted. We

We could use thousands more like you, Anton. Thank you!

I do wonder how often a rogue planet is captured by a star. I know for a given planet capture is improbable but there are several times the number of planets than stars so in a time frame of billions of years there should be a few in our technological view.

0:00: 🌍 Recent discoveries in exoplanets have revealed exciting and unexpected findings.
2:20: 🌟 A white dwarf star system with unanswered questions and a record-breaking planet orbiting a star for 17 years.
4:54: 🌌 Protoplanetary disks with unusual arms resembling miniature galaxies are most likely caused by a giant planet on the outskirts of the disk.
7:31: 🌟 Scientists have discovered two new planets in the Kepler-47 star system, which is known for hosting multiple planets.
9:45: 🌌 This video discusses an unusual gas giant that is 75% the radius of Jupiter and orbits very close to a star.
