But to add on John 14:18 Jesus had called the disciples Sons and in calling them Sons he says I will not leave you orphans I will come to you. Jesus already qualified what he meant by that and continues to as John goes on in John 14:16 though Jesus is leaving and going away he will send another comforter. So you dont then jump to conclusions and say oh Jesus is the Holy Spirit look he said I will come to you. This is because the Spirit of Truth is different then Jesus as is shown in other scriptures. And through the Spirit Jesus does come to them because this Spirit teaches them all things and helps them remember all Jesus did or said and helps them search all things even the deep things of God. So this Spirit is not Jesus but another Helper or Comforter whom Jesus will send to them only if he goes away this is a Spirit that does not come from Jesus but only from the Father and so yes proves Trinitarian theology 3 persons 1 Being or essence

Like a father and son relationship, equal in nature and essence but being a good son, knows his father is in a higher position of authority. The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father who sits on the throne. We all know Jesus is already at the right hand of the Father. So yes 3 in 1. Not looking to argue or proclaim anything, but i do have a question and i am seeking different perspectives on this: in the Gospel according to John 8:58, can someone reconcile Jesus calls himself the same thing as God when he showed himself to Moses in Exodus 3:14?

I don't believe I've heard anyone discuss this particular connection.

Again, I'm not saying that one bit cancels out other scripture, i dont believe scripture contradicts scripture. This is why I'm simply looking for a CIVIL discussion on this. Thanks to anyone who does.

Verse 26 in John 14 totally qualifies what verse 18 means when he says I will not leave you orphans i will come to you.

Sam shamoun has a wrong hermeneutical approach to scripture. I submit without a presupposition to scripture nobody would read all of the canonical books and conclude God is triune it’s blasphemy and it’s taking away from God’s omnipresence, omnipotence, omniscience.
