Yep yep! My first EDF, great jet. I re-painted mine like the scale version and put and some dubro ties on it, LOVE IT! 4000mah batteries give me +5 min flights. Thanks for the afterburner kit, still using it!

Chris, I like that Horizon takes something good and makes it better. That 70mm is no sleeper. I do like that the new and improved 90mm will have lights. Helps us folks with tired eyes to see. :-)

I flew my 70 mm Viper yesterday. I don't know why, but I am always nervous taking off on my first flight of the day, but after I raise the flaps, the nervous feeling vanishes. It flies so perfect. It is my favorite airplane I own. All it needs is better retracts with shock absorbing struts for my rough grass runway. I really want the new 90 mm Viper, but I just hate to spend that kind of money right now. It looks like it will be a great airplane. Maybe I'll get one a little later on.

I regularily fly my 70 Viper with great pleasure, my favorite with the 80mm Freewing Albatross...can't wait for the 90mm Viper!

Love this plane Chris and is on its way to my little hanger. I can't wait to maiden this Viper. I'm going to be very nervous, but I think this is a good thing to an extent. BTW, just for the love of it, outside of all the RC addiction, I'm a mathematical physicist. My point; your cool shirt, it reminds me of my vector analysis where we idealize the continuity of fluid density mechanics and dynamics as the law of conservation of mass :-> in space. You might know of it as the laplacian operator that is the divergence of the gradient. CURL is where it becomes really interesting 🙂

Great flying and great video! I'd love to see a comparison review of the 70mm and 90mm versions. I've always preferred the Freewing Avanti over the 70mm Viper, but the 90mm is looking like a formidable model.
