As an owner of a PolyBrute, MatrixBrute and MiniBrute 2S, I was bitten by the Noir bug and upgraded my MatrixBrute and MiniBrute 2S. As much as I prefer the black aesthetic, I think I'll hold off on this one. The OG PolyBrute is already a work of art, and the burnt orange on black labels of the Noir edition is basically invisible to anyone without perfect eyesight. I really struggle with it on my Matrix and Mini. I'm also not a huge fan of the orange and teal knobs. I get the point, but I don't love it. That said, the black panel and wood stain is BEAUTIFUL!

I know I should probably get a Micro/Minifreak or something as a first hardware synth, but I'll be honest. I want one of these more than I want both my lungs.

Looks great. Very elegant. I like how the wood is darker, but you can still tell it's wood. I already have an original Polybrute though and I prefer those colours. The teal with the wood look very elegant 70s and the 80s rubber buttons with coloured LEDs inside and the small bright white on black display combine a retro and modern styles in a really nice way. Just like how the instruments sounds. When I bought the Polybrute I already knew I wouldn't want a noir edition, but it looks better than expected. Better than the Matrixbrute noir edition. Good design choice not to get rid of the colours alltogether, but make them dark and subtle.

When the Polybrute connect plugin will be available for Apple Silicon, it's the only plugin left in my 50+ plugins collection that is not compatible and force me to use Rosseta. Black color is great but please, update the plugin. I already sent you many messages on twitter or via the support without any answer...
