I feel your pain! I easily get fomo from watching too much social media. I’m trying to do the exact same thing that you are doing and only watch certain people that encourage less spending on things that I don’t have. Planning can be a very expensive hobby! Honestly...same girl! I over spent but I have no regrets. I am definitely gonna have no spend weeks. Or reassess my budget a little. I also need to budget and prepare for end of next year so this doesn't happen again.

I don't necessarily have any regrets for 2025 planners but I always spend more than intended because I love the idea of all the planner choices and possibilities! I feel like swapping planners regularly is one of the aspects of this hobby that keeps things exciting for me. And I have just embraced it. NO REGERTS lol.

What about all the stickers and washi too? 2025 will be my first Hobonichi Cousin and I was like oh I’ll just get some sticker kits that could be fun. Those add up SO fast. I feel like influencers must be getting most of them for free just seeing how many they have and how expensive they really are. Holy smokes.

I budget each year and save for it. This year, I spent $315 on planner stuff!!! How crazy is that?! I can believe it. That does include a gift card, my personal ‘allowance’, and what I saved. But STILL. Holy moly. That’s insane. Last year I spent $20 total. A Travelers company monthly, and an insert.

Archer and Olive got me with the ghost Halloween drop. I’ve not ordered from them in YEARS, but went all out with the ghosts. They’re NOT cheap, and I don’t utilize the thick paper enough to warrant getting the notebooks often.

Whew 🥴. I feel much about my $325 spend this season. I mean it’s still terrible 😂😂😂.
