Nibbi Carb Better Than a Mikuni?

both of my brand new engines that I've bought in the last year I had to put a nibby carb on because the carb was either so far out of whack in it's settings that I couldn't get it adjusted in The Sweet Spot to run, or the other carb wouldn't run unless the choke was on, and I don't know how to give it more fuel... it was direct shot right to the carb so both of my bikes I couldn't get to run, checking everything I could, replaced parts and throats, gaskets, all kinds of stuff wasting all kinds of time. I bolt on a nibby carb second pull runs like a champ so I'd have to say Mikuni can suck em. NIBBI FOR THE WIN!

Just bought a pit bike, Mega moto 212 and decided to go with the nibbi. The color n looks of it are way over the mikuni too. I went 24mm nibbi...thinking I'm gonna be happy! Good video

The last VM22 clone kit I got was $20 from Amazon. The intake was a POS but the carb alone is worth the $20. I have used them on stock and built engines. Once tuned they work fine.

This might not be a big factor but that filter that comes with the ghost kit is supper restrictive my bike was running perfectly fine with a genuine makuni and a cheap Amazon filter until I whisky throttle the damn thing so I went and “Borrowed” one from harbor freight and that price of crap bogs top end now I got a nibbi on her and she runs better then ever!

I bought 2 vm30s for my rebel 450 motorcycle. Tuned it all summer long and had no luck at all with it. When I finally got it tuned right to run great it always stalled at idle. I spent over 100 bucks in jets and countless hours jetting it. I put the stock carbs back on and the bike ran great. I’m very very hesitant to buy a mikuni or clone mikuni for my Baja.

Nibbi carbs have great power and response but are hard to tune.

BTW I totally agree with you that those are terrible carbs to tune they are what hit the pit bike scene 20 yrs ago and they are still here 20 yrs sucking.

What did you go with for jetting? From everything I can tell they are basically a copy of a real Keihin pe24mm carb. The differences come down to different emulsion tube, floats, main jet, bottom cap, and needle from what I have been able to find out so far. I have run the pe24 on my tilly 212 modded but the idle screw broke and just picked this 24mm nibbi up.
