CNN Tech for Good: A tiny lunar rover that looks like a toy

In search of next-generation space rovers and robots for the latest CNN Tech for Good, Kristie Lu Stout hits the JAXA sand yard in Sagamihara to check out Japan’s space robotics program in action including the itty bitty Sora-Q. Part rover, part Transformer (“robots in disguise” 🎶), the tiny photo-snapping lunar rover is partly inspired by toys and the movements of baby turtles waddling across sand.
