The Consumer Price Index fell in December for the sixth straight month. It could be a sign the Federal Reserve will soon ease up on its aggressive interest rate hikes. Raphael Bostic, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, joined to CBS News for what this news means for the U.S. economy in 2023.

It was only lower because gas prices have been manipulated. It's much worse than they're letting on if you look at the other inflation numbers. They're pissing on people's heads and telling them it's raining in more than a few ways. Just the other day they called out Republicans because the CBO said the first bill the house passed would increase the deficit but when the CBO says something they don't agree with its no longer the gold standard they said it was when it made them look good.

They haven’t raised min wage in decades. People are scared to death. Especially old people who lost everything in 2008.

The Fed better raise rates a whole bunch more. The numbers don't match reality.
