Dying Light - Intro

Dying Light is an action survival game presented in first-person perspective. The game is set in a vast and dangerous open world. During the day, you roam an urban environment devastated by a mysterious epidemic, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to help you defeat the hordes of mindless, flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created. At night, the hunter becomes the prey as the infected grow in strength and aggression - but even more lethal are the nocturnal, inhuman predators that leave their hives to feed. You will need to make use of all your skills and any available means to survive till dawn.

Woman: The Global Relief Effort’s steady stream of supply drops has sustained what few survivors remain in the city. The Ministry of Defense believes more radical action should be taken to stem the tide of this virus.

Man: The question is are there still non-infected survivors in the city as the GRE maintains and if so will the Ministry still go through with a state of plan to annihilate the city in an attempt to wipe out the Harran virus once and for all—

Woman: —Whether by way of the virus, or the Ministry’s proposed plan. One thing is certain. Harran’s days are numbered.

This must be one of the best game intros out there. The realism of which the current situation is displayed (as mutiple news broadcasts), just drives a sense of eerie immersion into the player, which very few zombie games, if any other, achieve.

I somehow can't fathom of how much of a good game they produced, seemingly out of thin air. Maybe not perfect, but that makes it all the better.

The best game of all time! I confess, the first time I downloaded this game from a torrent and completed it. But I liked this game so much that I bought it later on Xbox, then I bought a PS4 and bought it there. Then I bought a Nintendo to play Zelda... but I also bought Dying Light on Nintendo. And then I bought it on Steam. For myself and all my friends. God, what a great music and atmosphere in this game
