great video Gradients are definitely tricky they can make your site look cool and at the same time can make you look like a clown lol I think blue and purple or white and blue are always safe colors to go with another one i like is off black and orange-yellow

The grey is almost completely neutral as it's RGB(231, 234, 238). "Slight" hue of blue is somewhat exaggerated xD
