Out here in the Northwest Left Coast, it's long been self-evident (to coin a phrase) that most of the RPG world is increasingly and bitterly hostile to anyone who values actual civilization. So far, there's still enough of us that there's one local convention I happily attend, the one made by gamers who want to play games, as opposed to the one set up by advocates to advance their advocacy.

🤮I gave up on WOTC after running a couple of campaigns in 5E. I run games online and the crop of players are virtually devoid of testosterone. At least a third of the time they want to talk about their revolving pronouns and their trigger warnings. The product has left heroic fantasy behind for Butterflies and Bunnies. I decided to hang up my dice bag, I am running an occasional retro one shot or Investigative game.🤮
