My wife and I sent yesterday our only daughter to study in a university for four years. The knowledge that she will not be with us always at home filled me with sadness. Mr. York's "Home' perfectly emits this emotion for me.

Okay beautiful guitar, but can we talk about how good this recording is?? I can hear the headstock... All the details of the fretting, with a rich bottom end. Excellent work!

There is nothing "simple" about sincere expression. Even the softest spoken phrase "I love you" whispered with heartfelt conviction carries enough complexity to save a life. This is mastery on so many different levels... to the very production and sound engineering. Beautiful.

People keep saying hes an entry level composer because he doesn't write ridiculously hard stuff. I agree a lot of his compositions are relatively simple (btw he has written some extremely advanced stuff) but they're always perfect and very effective in getting emotion. Its not how hard he can make it, its about making it exactly what he wants and exactly what we hear and he does that better than most.

It’s like the guitar waited 150 years just to be played this moment Can’t get enough of this song

I didn't speak to my father for two years. In 2016, this song helped me reconnect with him. It was like someone had spoken to me. The energy of this song brought that to me. Today, I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to see how important this reconnection with my father was. Music is something inexplicable. Thank you, Andrew and the Guitar Salon team ❤️

My husband is in the ICU fighting COVID. Myself and our three little girls want him to get well and come HOME to us. This is one the hardest things I've gone through!

Andrew York...Are you praying with your guitar? I play a lot and it's only for me and for God..and for my patient wife and the kitty cats. My playing...learning...and growing with the guitar has become a spiritual exercise for me. This lovely piece sounds like guitar prayer. Thanks....

As a collector of vintage instruments for many years as well as a guitarist, I'm awestuck by the incredible tone of the Torres guitar. Any experienced guitarist will note the incredible accuracy of the octaval and harmonic notes along with the exceptional overall tone of this wonderfully constructed 129 year old masterpiece of a guitar. This all reflects what a true musical engineer Antonio Torres was and his legacy lives on today in the construction of modern day guitars based on his research and construction techniques. Also, kudos to Andrew damn fine guitarist who is able to awaken this century old gem of a

I listened this tune about 5 years ago. I tried to find this on youtube over and over again. A few days ago the algoritm recommend me this, and it was magic.
This tune is one of the pieces why I fall in love with the guitar. Andrew will never know this, but he is part of my life for ever.
Maybe the best music I ever heard on a classical guitar.
I have more worda, but anyone can describe what this tune means to me.
Mr Andrew, thanks for ever.

When someone leaves this guitar he is able to open or record any soul that is trapped by suffering or an illusion, he is able to propel our sacred energy light years towards the planet Love, and also what is necessary for us to be human, but more amazing to see over 669 people in negativity. See here and don't know how to appreciate the melody, since they say they are alive, and yes they are ... they are experiencing a feeling that they are not able to build or be love. But, it is beautiful to realize that 31 thousand people liked it!
This is wonderful! Congratulate Andrew York for not only playing his instrument, but above all transmitting love to him. For me, a great artist, full of good feelings seen so clearly in every note he plays. Thank you my friend and may the universe give you much more joy and love in your life. Hassin Ghannam

I have been listening to and playing classical guitar for over 50 years and never have I heard such a moving beautiful piece of music. Incredibly played with such feeling, by the genius who created it. Bravo Andrew York you are truly amazing.

How I could’ve played and been around guitars for most of my 67 years and have not sat down to hear Andrew play until now? Oh Lordy! He’s really magnificent!

You tell how expressive a composer is, by the relationship of the title and the story to the music. I’m not aware of anyone who does that better than Andrew York.
It is not a mastery of technique, nor a mastery of musical understanding. It is a God-given ability to relay a feeling through sound. This is rare
