Fix Opel Infotainment Blank Screen and CarPlay Connecting Issues - Reset Procedure

How to reset the Opel infotainment system if you have issues such as the screen going blank, the phone not connecting, issues connecting to CarPlay, navigation, backup camera issues, and freezing. I had problems with the Opel touchscreen lagging and navigation not working correctly. Another issue with the Opel was the CarPlay not always connecting. My infotainment unit has been working smoothly after the reset procedure. When performing the reset, it is best to have nothing connected to the system, along with all the accessories being off. If the infotainment unit has no power, I would check the fuses.

If you don’t press brake and then press start in new car, it will be same as 2nd ignition position . Then hit phone symbol .
Bom, it resets 🎉.
New 2023 Opel Astra .

Thanks for your video man! However, tried to reboot for astra k 17 plate but it is not working, held down power button for the longest and nothing happened, not sure about the fuse pull part though.

Thanks I will try this next time, blacked out driving back from Lincoln but after leaving car and then restarting it came back. Same intermittent issues on my Zafira too so it does seem like a common fault, which usually clears itself

hello there, i have similiar problem like this, as i start the engine screen is blank and there are no lights at the touchscreen buttons but you can hear the sounds or play music with carplay. But screen is blank and you cannot use rear parking camera. Then next day it is fixed by itself but its occurs after some days again. Any tips for that? :(

For me i didnt have that phone sing or enyting
Radio didnt work and camera also didnt work
But after 10 min of driving it worked normally any suggestion
