My hair is long, but my part is due to the fact that I have a particular hairstyle for work (double buns) that make it so that my voluminous hair does not make my hair net fall off or makes me look 30 years old (not that theres anything wrong with that, I'm just not there yet). The splitting is most commonly caused by a cowlick at the back of the head. A cowlick is a small section of hair that grows at a different angle than the rest of the hair on your head. Hair cowlicks are caused by genetics and are typically located at the crown of your head.
