2007 Nissan XTerra Review: Surprisingly Durable

The 2007 Nissan XTerra is honestly a great car for the price. Let me know what you guys think of it!

I think it is worth more than $3, 000. I own one, just keep fixing things when they break. I've had to change valve covers and gaskets, solenoid gaskets. New computer. Now engine is tight and runs very well. No oil leaks. Mich tires make it ride very smooth. These cars are basic and very dependable if you treat them well.

6000 cad can get you a basic xterra under 200k milage, but tons of work waiting and need to be put on other 1K to make it bone-stock perfect.

I see one near me in yellow, 4x4 heard good things but 160k miles 7k, how’s that sound in 2025 as a family man looking for a temporary ish vehicle to daily drive and take us on adventures for a couple yrs. I’m tired of searching for a ride and this market is full of overpriced stuff or reasonably priced problem vehicles. Saw a 16k trd Tacoma with 160k miles and I’m starting to look at these as a solution, I can’t find my lifelong unicorn car but I’ll spend much less and get some adventuring down and then oh I’m rambling

This thing has 240, 000 Miles on it? You sure it isn't KM? You better hope so at that price lol. I have the same exact truck, same condition with 250, 000 KM. Paid 6000 cdn. Needs a timing chain.
