My happiest memories of my home living out in the boonies are riding out an ice or snow storm with my Vermont Casting Wood stove, no power and a continual pot of soup on the stove. Reading at night by candlelight and actually sitting with my inner thoughts. Get simple folks, the only way to stay sane. You need your health and inner peace to get thru this world.

Dogs will sleep with you and never complain if you fart like a fool. Dogs can hear things you cant and they will stay by your side no matter what.
