You should definitely do separate painting guides for each figures, I’d watch em.

I like the idea of a center piece kind of like an objective, with special prayer rules that gives you an advantage in the fight against your enemy.
Plus I can't wait to paint this with a marble granite paint job bevause I don't have anything else I wanted to paint a marble granite pattern on yet in my collection so far.

Dude! Thank you for telling that the hive storm and brutal n cunning terrain goes together. I love the bunker so having stuff that would fit it is great

Ordered up a box today, would have loved more terrain BUT have been looking for this statue so I am pumped

Ordered! Mainly wanted the terrain piece and the models as painting projects! I know what you mean in terms of quantity of scenery, but the statue is stunning. Cheers both 👍🏼

imo GW should have images of the assembled unpainted minis, these look so much better without the eavy metal treatment.

Hopefully this marks a return to sale of the statue as a stand alone 🤞

Their preacher is from their old inquisitor game. Love seeing them make miniature from that old line. I count 3 so far.

Ordered for the Goremongers as im painting a World Eater’s army and those guys look fantastic! Splitting the statue and Sanctifiers off to someone else so getting a good deal on the price.

Looking forward to their 40K datasheet!

I like the choice for the scenery this time, i have more than enough generic imperialis ruins, the Sister statue has been almost impossible to get with prices on ebay ridiculously high, i have been trying to get the statue piece for years since it went oop.

The drill abbot is clearly a nod to the old 54mm inquisitor model, father josef and the persecutor reminds me of brother malicant. Nice touch GW. As a suggestion, it would have been nice to have a closer look at the models in each gang. 👍🏻

So is there no base board to game on in this latest set? As for painting the monks. Think of them as representing tiers in the organisation. Then paint each level to a colour scheme. Red robes of the lowest. Green for the middle. White, purple and gold for the head honchoes

Love the sister models. Would you be able to bring them in an imperial agent list ?

Sanctifiers look like they are mostly robes, maybe a tutorial on lots of different colored robes

I'm kinda torn on this box set. Love me some zealous preacher lads, but no one I know wants the Khorne team. The terrain piece is one I've wanted for ages and would be a big drawing point, but I may just wait a couple of months and grab the team and terrain when it gets solo releases.

Are you sure picking a few and recreating their individual schemes is the right approach for the loyalists? Not sure that’s the best way for people to get them on the table. Couldn’t you do something more like your dogs of war army? Come up with a scheme that applies similar colours across that diverse range of humans. Then you could maybe still paint them as a squad in close to one go and you’d help people who find doing them all separately intimidating.

Is there any hint at rules for 40K for these guys? (Do you reckon the priests will be sister of battle or imperial agents?)

Andy, do the goremongers reuse some of the jackals spruces from 40k?
