Synopsis:
The Walk is the true story of a young dreamer, Philippe Petit, and a band of unlikely recruits who together achieve the impossible: an illegal wire walk in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers. With little more than nerve and blind ambition, Petit and his ragtag crew overcome daunting physical obstacles, betrayals, countless close calls and overwhelming odds to beat the system and execute their mad plan.

I typed up the addresses, for letters occasionally that would go above the 90th floor or higher, from Los Angeles. This was back in 1998 or 1999. I mentioned to two coworkers that I was amazed that this letter would go across country and then up so high. I was not only made fun of but ridiculed. They laughed at me. These buildings were not admired by most people at that time. Nobody back then would even think of making a movie like this. One of the coworkers, who was a russian immigrant, said he was up there and that it was no big deal even. I left after 1999, so I don't know if they remember my conversation about it, with them.
