My mom had one which wasn't good for her but great for us kids. She was an alcoholic and would get abusive but not after Fred came into the picture. He wouldn't let her near us if she was on a binge. That sweet boy saved us.

11 months old!? He already looks like he is a wise old fellow ready to write his memoirs 😆

What!? I can't believe he's only 11 months old. That means he's still a puppy and has more growing to do! What a giant baby 😂

The way he's so cautious about the spray bottle that's literally smaller than his head just makes me want to protect him

It´s great that you are always telling some facts about the breeds and not only the good things but also about potencial health problems etc.

A bout of encouragement for any bordeaux fans, we recently lost a bordeaux but we got her to 10, and another bordeaux we had stuck around till she was 8. Getting this breed to old age is making sure you look after them properly, both of ours were kept lean and got regular walks and exercise. Keeping dogs (especially large ones!) at a healthy weight is so so vital as it puts less strain on everything (e.g. joints, heart, breathing etc.) :)

I bought the Equigroomer after your recommendations for our calico who HATES being brushed. At first, I didn't like it because I thought it wasn't doing anything...but I kept at it and when I saw SHEETS of fur coming off of her and then realized she was still just standing there, letting me brush her, I was HOOKED. It's fantastic and obviously full of dark magic.

We used to have a Bullmastiff. Watching this helped remember the fun times of bathing him, he would act the same way as Brutus lol.
The good definitely die young, we lost him at just 7 to lung cancer. Cannot bring myself to get another dog after him, he was the best!
Your videos touch a lot of people, thank you!

His adorable worried eyebrow wiggles are cracking me up. What a sweetie.

He was smiling at the end though like he felt pampered

A neighbour used to have 2 of these beasts.. They were scared of our little Staffordshire terrier. They look intimidating. They are the exact opposite. They can and will drag your tired body across a muddy field whenever they want. 😂

Shortest life expectancy im aware of in a breed. Biggest, goofiest hearts. God I love mastiffs.

What an absolute sweetheart! 5-8 is far too short for such a gentle soul.

For such a young man, Brutus is the epitome of patience and good manners. He absolutely was not the fighter you were warned about where his nails were concerned. <3

My neighbour has one similar to this, a lovely old girl. Only thing bad about her is her tail whip

I love the fact that no matter what type of doggo, a big bad boy too gets sweet petal or mango tango cologne. It's just so sweet. 💕

Such a handsome boy! I love mastiffs! A friend from many years ago had a beautiful English mastiff named Moose and that dog was the most laid back gentle giant I've ever met. The only danger was his baseball bat sized tail which often knocked stuff off the table, and his weight which he would use to lean on you, knocking you down so that he could then lovingly slobber in your face. :) I loved that dog!

A friend of mine absolutely loves this breed. They had 4 at once a few years ago. Their oldest passed at 14 years old, so I'd say she did well considering their life expectancy. She was such a sweetie, but only for people she liked. Thankfully I was one of them, and got to snuggle with her a lot when camping with my friends. :)
