This is one of my all-time favourite songs. The lyrics paint a beautiful but mysterious picture while telling a vague story that can be interpreted many ways. Somehow in that darkness but also in the chords and melody I find something really powerful and deeply moving. The Jimi Hendrix cover is obviously an essential and important part of the song's history as well. Probably the best cover of any song, ever. I've played this song for well over 15 years now and I never get tired of it. I hope you enjoy :)

Written by Bob Dylan and originally released on his album John Wesley Harding in 1967. Famously covered by the Jimi Hendrix Experience on the album Electric Ladyland in 1968.
